Pulled BBQ Pork Sliders

12 pack Hawaiian buns

3 cups shredded BBQ pork

⅓ cup BBQ sauce

6 slices havarti cheese

¼ cup butter

1 tablespoon onion flakes

½ teaspoon poppy seeds

Preheat oven to 375.

Slice the Hawaiian buns in half while keeping all of the buns attached to one another. Remove the top of the buns and set aside.

Place the bottom half of the buns in a sprayed 9x13 pan. Layer the shredded BBQ pork over the buns, top with additional BBQ sauce if needed. Layer the slices of cheese over the pork and top with the other half of the buns.

In a small microwave safe bowl, mix the butter, onion flakes and poppy seeds. Microwave for 30-60 seconds, or until completely melted.

Brush the butter mixture over the top of the buns. Cover the pan with foil and bake at 375 for 10 minutes.

Remove the foil from the top of the pan and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes. Serve immediately.

Baked fries:

2 russet potatoes, parboiled and cooled cut in slices or wedges (8-10 per potato)

¼ cup extra virgin olive oil

kosher salt

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Toss potatoes in olive oil and 1 tsp salt. Place on baking sheet in single layer. Roast for 20-30 minutes, until golden and cooked through and golden brown.
